Kohei Horikoshi

Kouhei Horikoshi

Kohei Horikoshi (堀越 耕平 Horikoshi Kouhei) is a Japanese male manga artist of the beginning series Oumagadoki Zoo. He is born in Aichi Horikoshi at November 20, 1986 (age 33). In 2006 he entered the Shueisha's 72th Tezuka Award for Newcomers with his one shot "Nukegara" and made it to the final six, where he gained himself an "Honorable Mention". Various short stories in Shueisha's Akamaru JUMP followed over the years until he published his one shot "Oumagadoki Doubutsuen" in issue #2/2010 of Weekly Shounen JUMP. He was assistant of the mangaka Yasuki Tanaka when he was creating "Kagijin" that were been published by Shönen Jump.
